Steven Ma and Tavia Yeung attended an activity to promote "Sweetness in the Salt" yesterday. This series was aired overseas, but due to the success of "Rosy Business" in Hong Kong, producer Lee Tim Sing (Tim Gor) decided to broadcast it in Hong Kong, hoping to get the same good result. Lee said he has confident in this series, but it may not break the rating report of "Rosy Business". Lee said " We had very good viewing report of "Sweetness in the Salt" in the US and Canada. This series was filmed before "Rosy Business", I hope we will get good index rating when it's shown in HK." In fact, Steven Ma was supposed to be in the original cast of "Rosy Business", Steven smiled and told reporter "It doesn't matter now, "Rosy Business" was supposed to be aired overseas too. If I did act in it, it may not be as successful anyway, you never know. "Sweetness in the Salt" has its uniqueness, it reminds me of "Internal Affairs" dressed in Qing Dynasty costume." When he was asked if he is under pressure following the success of "Rosy Business"? Steven replied "No, It is very difficult to beat "Rosy Business", but as long as the viewers are happy, I am happy too."
Tavia played the role as a fighter who was a member of the mountain gang to become the head of a household in "Sweetness in the Salt". She told reporter "I know we get very good feedback when it was aired overseas. I hope it will get the same viewing report in Hong Kong too. In fact the two series are produced by Tim Gor, and that itself is a guarantee." When asked if her role would be as popular as Sheren Tang (4th grandma), Tavia said "I haven't seen "Rosy Business" yet, and I don't know how she was like? I believe we have the word "courageous" marked on our chest."
