Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok got married in 2005 after 9 years of marathon courting. During their marriage life, there have been numerous rumors about their marriage is on the rock and there have been 3rd person involved in both of them. In May, a recorded message was leaked out, the male voice (allegedly Frankie) admitted that he has an affair, and the 3rd person was a mainland actress Tung Wai Ka. Frankie and Kenix both denied that report at a press conference, but that didn't stop the divorce rumors.
Yesterday, a magazine reported Frankie has requested the divorce proceeding, but Kenix still got his signed paper of IOU for one million HKD. Frankie cannot divorce her till he repays the loan. The reporter asked Kenix's manager Kim to clarify that. Kim said Kenix has no plan to clarify the rumors.
Frankie spoke to a reporter on the phone yesterday, denying about the divorce allegation "They reported us getting divorced and sleep in separate room. My servant doesn't even know about it, how does the reporters find out?? They said I owed her over one million dollars, how come I don't even have one million dollars? If I have over one million, anything that is over that amount, I would ask the person who wrote that report to swallow the money!"
